How it Works

Starting with a clean slate, we provision and configure all of your infrastructure to work in the correct way. Starting from scratch allows us to ensure that all services and systems are working well together, and without interference. We’re normally able to do all of this using only your existing hardware, irrespective of warranty.

Purchase options are also available, however there is no requirement that devices are purchased from us. We believe schools should always be free to choose the most cost-effective suppliers

Deployment

Being able to quickly replace faulty computers and equipment is the cornerstone of everything we do. All of our packages include bespoke deployment options for both on-premises and cloud computers to provide instant hot-swap capabilities to reduce any downtime.

Custom
Infrastructure

We use our custom enterprise level infrastructure template to ensure that all of your (and our!) systems work as well as possible.

User
Synchronisation

A single source of truth makes user issues a thing of the past. We use Wonde’s excellent API to transfer all user data from your MIS to all other services.

Support

Third-line support by default. No more logging calls and waiting for them to be escalated.

Helpdesk

Our streamlined, custom helpdesk enables your users to request support from multiple sources.

Scheduled Visits

On-Premises Support

All of our packages include unlimited remote support as standard. This can be supplemented with scheduled technician visits, or by using our banked hours system.

Banked Hours Only

For insitutions with limited requirements and/or budgets. Banked hours can be purchased in advance and utilised when needed.

1 Weekly Site Visit

One of our friendly team will visit your site each week on your preferred day to carry out routine and maintenance tasks, as well as liaise with leadership and complete jobs that require a physical presence.

Twice Weekly Site Visit

For larger institutions, you can bolster your on-site support by choosing to have one of our team visit you twice per week.

3-2-1 Backups

Footprint ICT is partnered with Redstor to give you a backup solution that provides peace of mind and conformity to the latest DfE recommendations

Security

Devices are encrypted by default, and we will implement a custom private-key infrastructure to keep internal communcations secure.

Admin Interface

The Footprint VM has a beautiful web-based interface for easy management of users and synchronisation.

Remote Support

Unlimited telephone and remote support, available to all users.

Analytics

Weekly emails, termly meetings, helpdesk stats, and custom requests. Know what's going on at all times.
